Meet Phoebe.

I know I've been MIA for a while, but apart from being sick as a dog (hehe... pun upcoming) I've had other distractions.

 Cute ones.



This is Phoebe.

She's an eight week old Maltese pup who has an obsession with cardboard toilet roll innards. And carpet tassels.



And socks.



Just to illustrate how small she is, this is her with my size eight sock.



It took us a while to figure out what to name her... Luna was a first choice, but it didn't sound feminine enough. The Percy Jackson series has sparked my sister's interest in Greek mythology, so I looked up mythological lunar deities. Apparently Phoebe was the goddess of the moon before Artemis came along.



'Phoebe' means 'bright, pure' so we thought that fit her, too. I mean... she's a white dog.
 In the end, however, no matter how cute or playful she is... she's still a puppy.




And puppies need their sleep.
