Trip to Tire, Turkey

Last week I went on a trip to Tire, a village close to Izmir, Turkey. It has a cute bazaar and a really great shop that sells home-made felt things, my personal favourites being the slippers!

After scouring the bazaar and snapping a few pictures, we headed up a mountain to a great little restaurant that serves local specialities like nettle salad. The lamb chops weren't half bad, either, though our lunch was mostly taken up by a competition to snap the best photos of our cups of tea.
